High-level stats for week of 2018-12-25 - 2018-12-31
- Total works categorized F/F on AO3: 4369 (+76 from last week)
- Works I classified F/F: 2772 (+115 from last week) (1482 new, 1290 continued)
- 1.17% of all 236235 AO3 works I've classified F/F were updated this week

A few callouts this week:
- Death/Thessaly: I don't remember Sandman canon at all, but this is very good (Yuletide)
- Tahani/Eleanor college AU (Yuletide)
- Hela/Valkyrie pre-Ragnarok: I realised recently that I actually rec Valkyrie fics a fair bit, though possibly never shipped with the same person twice. Well, there we are, I guess. I like Valkyrie.
- Julia has questions about Millie's history (gen, Yuletide)
- Here's a stat you didn't know you needed, and maybe you don't, but now you have it. You may have noticed that my full table behind the cut has a column for the ratio of the number of F/F works to the number of M/M works in a fandom tag. (I include that in case people want to differentiate on the fly between primarily F/F fandoms, and primarily M/M fandoms that are big enough to also have a lot of F/F.) So I got curious, how has that stat moved for Doctor Who with the advent of the new series? Quite a lot, as it turns out! A year ago, the week of 2017-12-25, I recorded 2811 F/F works to 6430 M/M works (1:2.3). This week, by contrast, we have 4062 F/F works to 6690 M/M works (1:1.6). Not shocking, but it's good to know the system works!
